1. Improve the SERP – If this is the first time you’ve heard of this, SERP stands for “search engine result performance”. This is the actual ranking of the website when searched on popular search engines such as google. The higher your website is on the ranking, the better; ideally it should be on the first page of the search result. There are so many techniques in achieving this, and it honestly has to be discussed on a separate topic. But if you are quite savvy and you have lots of experience with search engine optimization or online marketing such as pay per click, then you can get a killing if you manage to improve the SERP of the website you purchased.
2. Improve website popularity – Some will argue that website popularity is part of the search engine optimization, but my belief is that this is part of online marketing. Why is it important for the website you intend to flip to be popular, simple, websites are created for spreading information, marketing. The more popular your website is, the better price you can get.
